July 11, 2019 – Independent Retailer magazine, the official publication of WholesaleCentral.com and a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumner Communications, is excited to announce the promotion of Ms. Krystina Morgan to Managing Editor of the magazine and its associated web site. Adding to her original duties as editor of The Merchandiser magazines, Morgan will lead the company’s expanding editorial reach in B2B wholesale and retail coverage.

Prior to her role at Sumner Communications, Morgan was published by her alma mater’s paper The Southern News, at Southern Connecticut State University, as well as in the Valley Independent Sentinel and the New Haven Independent.
